 The City of Fernandina Beach contracts its sanitation services with Waste Management for residential/commercial garbage and recycling. Questions may be addressed directly to Waste Management at:

Once a year, to coincide with Earth Day, the City hosts a hazardous waste/recycle event and food drive. Details for the 2024 event to follow. 

The City's cardboard recycling station is located at 1 South Front Street.  Additional recycling available at the Nassau County Convenience Recycling Center. or at the following locations click here.  

The Nassau County managed recycling bins previously stationed at Bailey Road have been relocated to the Nassau County Public Works Building (86200 Gene Lasserre Blvd.,Yulee). For more information.

* Latex paint is now acceptable at the Convenience Recycling Center (46026 Landfill Road, Callahan)
