Complaints & Concerns

Due to the nature of the job and the ethical rules governing attorneys, the Office of the City Attorney, unlike most City departments, has few direct dealings with Fernandina Beach citizens or members of the public.

Legal concerns are typically brought to the Attorney by City Commission members or members of the staff. Keeping the line of communication on business matters directly between the City Attorney and other City officials protects the legal interest of the City.

If you have any legal concerns or complaints regarding the City, contact the particular City department concerned or call City Hall at (904) 310-3115.
